Proposition 8 is a blight on our state Constitution. To overturn it, we’ll need 10,000 volunteers like you to help collect signatures and spread the message! If you’ve never done anything like tabling, this is where you can learn how to overcome your fears! We’ll have a public speaking educator who will discuss easy ways to channel your anger about Proposition 8 toward a productive outcome. We’ll show you the basics of tabling for a cause, and teach you the details of marriage equality so you can speak competently and confidently about the issue.

In turn, this will be great training and practice for the upcoming ballot proposition, where you will have the skills to help train others do the same thing.

REMEMBER: You don’t have to do everything, you just have to do something! Give us a few hours on a Saturday night, and you’ll get invaluable skills for the coming fight! And you’ll even have a great parking spot near your favorite bars, where you can head out to party later, if you want!

The training will take place at the Hollywood Methodist Church (on the corner of Highland and Franklin – free parking!), but we’ll actually be heading out to the tabling locations after the training. You’re welcome to drive yourself or carpool, and we’ll give you some parking suggestions and a map!
